Custom Rigid Boxes

Custom rigid boxes are the heaviest, most premium packaging format we make in Dubai. Instead of a folding carton that creases, a rigid box is built from 1.5–3.0 mm greyboard and hand-wrapped in printed art paper, soft-touch suede, textured linen or metallic pearl stock. The result holds its shape for years, which is why perfume houses, jewellers, hotels and electronics brands across the UAE use it for anything that has to feel expensive the moment it is picked up.

Popular types of rigid boxes

**Two-piece (top and bottom) box** — a separate lid fits entirely over the base, or part way down it. The classic shoe box and smartphone box construction, and the most cost-effective rigid format.

**Magnetic closure box** — built-in magnets in the flap and base snap shut securely, creating an elegant unboxing presentation for cosmetics and tech.

**Drawer (slide) box** — an outer sleeve with an inner tray that slides out like a matchbox, often paired with a ribbon pull for jewellery or perfume.

**Book-style box** — opens and closes like a hardbound book, frequently with a magnetic or ribbon closure for high-end beauty kits and media collections.

**Shoulder (neck) box** — an inner collar or neck stays visible between the base and lid when closed, adding a layered, high-end reveal.

**Collapsible (foldable) box** — a modern space-saving hybrid that ships flat and snaps into a rigid shape using integrated adhesive strips or magnets.

**Round (cylinder) box** — a circular base with a fitted cap, ideal for flowers, candles and bottled fragrance.

**Hinged clamshell box** — lid and base built as one piece on a rear spine, lined with satin or moulded foam for rings, watches and pens.

Sizes and inserts

Standard footprints run from a 90 × 90 × 40 mm jewellery box through perfume (150 × 100 × 60 mm), tech (180 × 110 × 45 mm), medium gift (240 × 170 × 60 mm) and apparel (320 × 220 × 110 mm) up to a 400 × 300 × 120 mm corporate hamper. Anything outside that list is drawn as a custom dieline at no extra artwork cost. Inside, we cut EVA foam, velvet-covered trays, rigid card partitions or satin pillow linings so the product sits still in transit.

Printing, finishing and delivery

Artwork is preflighted free of charge, colour-managed to G7 targets and proofed before production, so a reprint six months later matches the first run. Finishing includes hot foil in gold, silver or rose gold, raised spot UV, blind emboss and deboss, ribbon pulls and magnetic closures. Minimum order is 50 boxes and standard turnaround is 7–10 working days from artwork approval, with free delivery across Dubai — Business Bay, DIFC, JLT, Deira, Al Quoz, Dubai Marina and the free zones — and next-day courier to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman and the Northern Emirates.
